In 2016 we asked our listeners, DJs, staff and assorted friends of the station to let us know what their favourite indie songs are.
Rather predictably, we found the list dominated by just a few bands - Stone Roses, Pulp, Radiohead, Strokes, Arctic Monkeys etc. Because of this we have picked one song (the top-rated song) for each band. This gave us a much more eclectic list and will, we hope, lead you to some gems that you might not have heard yet.
